Work Areas

NTS delivers its work via a set of specialist national and regional teams and by providing funds to Local Authority Trading Standards to deliver work across England and Wales in the NTS priority areas. The current NTS priorities include doorstep crime and cold calling, lettings, estate agency work, e-crime, mass marketing frauds/scams, intellectual property crime, illicit tobacco, illicit vapes, other fair trading issues, used cars and animal feed work. 

The NTS Teams are hosted within local authorities and include the:

• NTS Estate Agency and NTS Letting Agency Teams
• NTS Intelligence Team
• NTS Regional Investigation Teams
